Marketplace Agreement

Effective June 2025

The ground rules between buyers and sellers on GMM. By making or accepting an offer, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and the House Rules.

Seller Agreement

If you list an item on GMM, this section applies to you.

Ownership & Accuracy

Only list items you legally own and have the right to sell. Describe them honestly — condition, defects, sizing, and photos must match the item you'll hand over.

Honoring Accepted Offers

Once you accept an offer, the listing is reserved for that buyer. You may not modify, relist, raise the price, or sell the item to anyone else. Auto-accepted full-price purchases are immediately binding.

No Off-Platform Diversion

Don't try to move accepted transactions off GMM to avoid ratings or the dispute system.

Pickup Windows

Honor the pickup window you set. Be reachable, give the buyer reasonable time, and don't no-show without communication.

Releasing Pickup Details

Release pickup details only when you're ready to meet. Once released, treat them as a commitment.

Confirming Payment & Completion

Confirm payment received only when funds have actually landed. Mark the pickup complete after hand-off so reliability scores update fairly for both sides.

Prohibited Items

No counterfeit goods, recalled products, weapons, hazardous materials, regulated substances, or anything illegal in your region.

Taxes

You're responsible for any taxes owed on your sales.

Buyer Agreement

If you make an offer or buy on GMM, this section applies to you.

Offers Are Binding

When you make an offer and a seller accepts (or you buy at full price), you've committed to pay and pick up within the seller's stated window.

Pay On Time

Pay within the payment window. Repeated late payments or non-payment will earn strikes.

Show Up

Be on time for pickup. If life happens, communicate early — most things can be sorted with a quick note.

Inspect & Confirm Received

Inspect the item at pickup. Confirm receipt in the app so the transaction can close out cleanly.

Disputes, Not Drama

If something's wrong, use the in-app dispute flow. No harassment, no haggling after acceptance, no public shaming.

No Sock-Puppeting

Don't create extra accounts to dodge strikes, suspensions, or to manipulate reliability scores.

Shared Provisions

These apply to everyone using the marketplace.

Strikes System

Backing out, no-shows, harassment, or rule violations earn strikes. First strike: 24-hour pause. Second: 48-hour pause. Third: 7-day pause. Beyond that, your account is reviewed by a community moderator.

Disputes & Moderator Review

Disputes are reviewed by moderators based on chat history, pickup status, and other evidence inside the app. Keep receipts — screenshots, in-app messages, and timestamps help.

GMM's Role

GMM provides the platform, messaging, and dispute tools. GMM is not the buyer or seller of any item, does not take custody of items, and is not a party to your transaction.

Suspension & Termination

Accounts that repeatedly violate this agreement or the House Rules may be suspended or terminated at moderator or administrator discretion.
